River Rhythms at Pere Marquette Park Aug 24

Did you know that River Rhythms is Milwaukee's fastest growing music festival?  Not only that, but there are only two shows left for the year, and one of them is this Wednesday, August 24 at 6:30pm.

River Rhythms takes place in Pere Marquette park, which is located at 900 North Plankinton Avenue, Milwaukee.  The park is situated on Old World 3rd Street between State and Kilbourne Streets.

This Wednesday, the classic Chicago blues band Reverend Raven and the Chain Smokin' Altar boys make their mark as this summer series begins to draw to a close.

You can bring your own food and drink, but frankly, you won't want to miss the goodies served up by Streetza Pizza, Satellite Crepes, Laura's Gourmet Popcorn, Riversedge Catering and Cousin's Subs, all of whom will be in attendance at the concert.  Several of these vendors go to great lengths to make sure you're eating locally grown fresh organic vegetables and Wisconsin cheese.  For example, Satellite Crepes, Milwaukee's first green mobile food cart, uses solar power and raises the standard of street food to an entirely new level.

There's also an official after party at Suite on North Old World 3rd Street and West Highland Avenue.
