Oak Creek Residents In First Stage Performances

Charlie and the Chocolate Factory opens the first weekend of March.

Oak Creek residents are involved in a pair of upcoming First Stage theater performances.

Elizabeth and Margaret Mazza will play Ooompa-Loompas in the production of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, held from March 2 through March 31 at the Todd Wehr Theater, Marcus Center for the Performing Arts at 929 N. Water Street.

Jeff Frank will direct this adaptation of the Roald Dahl children's classic, full of Oompa-Loompas, squirrels, chocolate rivers and cotton candy dreams.

Meanwhile, Austin Zdziarski and Thomas Mazza are both in the First Stage Children's Theater production of "Diary of a Worm, Spider and Fly."

The performance, based on the books by Doreen Cronin and Harry Bliss, will be held from April 13 through May 13.
