Charlie and the Chocolate Factory opens the first weekend of March.

Oak Creek residents are involved in a pair of upcoming First Stage theater performances.

Jeff Frank will direct this adaptation of the Roald Dahl children's classic, full of Oompa-Loompas, squirrels, chocolate rivers and cotton candy dreams.

Tickets can be purchased by calling (414) 273-7206 or online at FirstStage.org.

Meanwhile, Austin Zdziarski and Thomas Mazza are both in the First Stage Children's Theater production of "Diary of a Worm, Spider and Fly."

The performance, based on the books by Doreen Cronin and Harry Bliss, will be held from April 13 through May 13.
