Marcus South Shore will screen Dolphin Tale at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, October 15 as part of their "Reel Movies for Real Needs" program.
“Reel Movies for Real Needs” is designed for families of special needs children with autism or other challenges who do not always have the opportunity to attend the movies.
Some elements that are meant to create a more comfortable environment for the screenings include: lower sound, higher lighting and the added support of being around others from the special needs community.
According to the Marcus Theatres site, "Dolphin Tale is inspired by the amazing true story of a brave dolphin and the compassionate strangers who banded together to save her life." The film stars Morgan Freeman, Ashley Judd and Harry Connick Jr., is rated PG and has a runtime of 112 minutes.
Regular matinee pricing applies.
