Updated: Associated Bank Opens Oak Creek Branch

Associated Bank opened the doors to its new Oak Creek branch Friday morning.

The office is inside , 8131 S. Howell Ave. Associated has a successful branch at a Woodman's in Onalaska, and with the Oak Creek grocery store pulling in huge shopper counts, the company wanted to do it here too, Associated Bank District Manager Heather Johnson said.

"There's a lot of shopping that transpires in Woodman's, and Oak Creek being as large as it is, it made sense for the company to work with Woodman's to place the branch there," Johnson said. It will be the only Associated Bank location in Oak Creek.

The bank, about 1,000 square feet, will be open seven days per week - even on the weekends, customers can get all the traditional services the bank offers during the week, Johnson said.

"We're really excited to join this community and open our doors," Johnson said.

A grand opening and ribbon-cutting, attended by dozens of bank officials and dignitaries, was held Friday morning.
