Consulting Firm Wins Award For Drexel Town Square Work

Graef was recognized for its work planning a sustainable and environmentally-friendly Drexel Town Square development.

An engineering and consulting firm involved with the planning of the Drexel Town Square development project has won an award from American Planning Association-Wisconsin.

Graef received the "Innovations in Planning" award for a sustainable development guidebook it put together for Drexel Town Square. The guidebook provides developers with comprehensive information about sustainability and green infrastructure.

"We are pleased to see our planning team and young talent recognized by APA-WI," Graef Chief Executive Officer John Kissinger said. "Graef is committed to helping create a vibrant vision for our communities that meets citizens' needs while remaining dedicated to sustainability, and our planning team is truly an asset in achieving that vision."

Graef was hired in February 2011 to work with the city of Oak Creek, Wispark and other partners of Drexel Town Square, a new downtown for the city that's planned for the corner of Drexel and Howell avenues.
