Mike Rowe of 'Dirty Jobs' is New Master Lock Spokesman

Oak Creek-based company will make donation to Rowe's foundation.

Oak Creek-based Master Lock has announced a partnership with Mike Rowe, host of the Discovery Channel's "Dirty Jobs."

Master Lock will launch a new line of security products designed to protect tools and equipment in the cargo area of pickup trucks and vans, especially those that are used for work. Rowe will act as the spokesman for this new product line.Β 

As part of the partnership, Master Lock will make a donation to theΒ mikeroweWORKS Foundation. The donation will support technical education scholarships and assistance to schools and institutes providing a technical curriculum.

"This partnership with Master Lock will allow us to raise the level of awareness for the growing skills gap in America," Rowe said in a news release.

Master Lock's headquarters are at 137 W. Forest Hill Ave.
