New Home Construction Drops in Southeast Wisconsin

Available houses for sale slows the demand for building new homes, according to the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel.

New home construction fell 30 percent in the Milwaukee area last month, resulting in a 14.5 percent decline in the state's metro areas in May. The Madison and Racine/Kenosha area reported slight increases in new housing permits, but those gains were offset by Milwaukee and the Green Bay area. Read the full story here.
