Oak Creek Business Featured in CNN Documentary
Oak Creek's Eder Flag is involved in the story of an iconic photo from Sept. 11.
An Oak Creek business will be featured prominently in a documentary set to air Wednesday on CNN.
"The Flag" focuses on the American flag that firefighters at the World Trade Center raised in the iconic Sept. 11 photo.
The flag was produced at Eder Flag, 1000 W. Rawson Ave., is one of the largest flag manufacturers in the country. The business has been in Oak Creek since moving from downtown Milwaukee in 1979.
The movie's directors visited the company in February to interview employees and get footage of U.S. flags being made.
"The Flag" debuts at 8 p.m. Wednesday, with several encore showings scheduled.
