Oak Creek Dental Care Will Buy Back Unopened Halloween Candy

Candy will be used in care packages sent to U.S. troops.

is participating in a Halloween candy buy-back program that helps provide holiday care packages for troops overseas.

From 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, people can bring unopened candy to the Oak Creek Dental Care office at 132 E. Drexel Ave.

The business will pay $1 per pound (up to 10 pounds). Children age 12 and younger will also receive a toothbrush and a goody bag while supplies last.

The candy will then be sent to Operation Gratitude, a group in Van Nuys, Calif. that makes holiday packages for troops.
