Last Wednesday, Kobi had his tonsils and adenoids taken out. He also had his right ear tube removed. It was quite a bit for the little guy but he did great.
We have to get up twice in the middle of the night to give him his medicine and were reminded of what it was like when Kobi and Erica were babies. Although because he was so wiped out from the surgery and medicine, we had to set the alarm clock so we would get up in time to give him his medicine.
The biggest thing we were worried about was that Kobi has to stay inactive for two weeks. Those of you who know Kobi knows he is very active and doesn't sit still. It has been a lot easier than we thought. Kobi's day is watching cartoons for a couple hours and then resting.
The one difference with Kobi is his voice is all garbled but I guess that is to be expected. I miss his sweet, little voice and am anxious to hear it again.
Kobi's disposition is still just as sweet as always. I still get the "I love yous," the hugs, the kisses and the thank yous for taking such good care of him.
So, thank all of you for your well wishes. They were greatly appreciated.
