On December 30th, Kobi turned 5 years old. He was very excited about turning 5. Because Kobi was turning 5, he felt the need to sit down with me to have an interesting conversation.
Kobi has decided that since he is 5 now that he no longer needs kisses and hugs from me or his sister, Erica. Then he informed that someday he would be a lot older and really not want hugs and kisses at all.
I am sure when Kobi gets older that he will be like most boys and not want hugs and kisses but this mom might have a problem with that.

He is one year older. How did he get so philosophical? I guess my little boy is growing up.
I have a surprise for Kobi...Erica and I have decided that we will not give up our hugs and kisses yet. I don't think Kobi minds because everyday he is still given hugs and kissed and we will continue until the day comes when he decides no more.
