Power Restored to About 2,300 in Oak Creek/Franklin Area

A We Energies spokesperson said a defective cable knocked out power to a couple thousand homes for nearly 90 minutes Monday morning.

More than 2,300 homes in Oak Creek and Franklin lost power for nearly 90 minutes Monday morning due to a defective cable, a We Energies spokesperson said.Β 

Power was restored at approximately 12:15 p.m., We Energies' Cathy Schulze said.

"It has been resolved and everyone should see their power back on," she said.

The outage was centered off of South 27th Street, just north of West Ryan Road.
