A Winter Wonderland At Last

Thursday marks first significant snowfall of the winter.

It took until Jan. 11, but the first substantial snowfall of the winter finally came Thursday afternoon.

Snow started falling around 10 a.m. and was expected to continue through the night. Blowing and drifting snow may be an issue on Friday.

The latest forecast from Fox 6 predicted four to six inches of snow by Friday. The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory through Thursday night.

Many of the roads in Oak Creek were still in good shape Thursday afternoon, but driving conditions started to deteriorate as nightfall set in.
