Council Will Hear More On Waukesha's Lake Michigan Water Quest

The Waukesha Water Utility will talk about why it is in negotiations for Lake Michigan water at Tuesday night's Oak Creek Common Council meeting.

The general manager of the Waukesha Water Utility will make a presentation Tuesday to the Oak Creek Common Council regarding Waukesha's efforts to acquire Lake Michigan water.

General Manager Dan Duchniak is scheduled to present a PowerPoint and take questions from council members at the beginning of Tuesday's 7 p.m. meeting. A similar presentation .

Mayor Steve Scaffidi said aldermen have heard about the negotiations mostly through media reports, so Tuesday's presentation will allow the council and residents to hear straight from Waukesha.
