FAMILY BEST BETS OF THE WEEK

• St. Patrick's Day Parade

Where/When: Downtown Milwaukee/Saturday, noon. The parade starts at 3rd and Wisconsin and continues to Highland and Water.

Why Go: We're all Irish on St. Patrick's Day, and the parade has almost 140 units celebrating Irish life and culture.

Pricing: Free

 

Where/When: Oak Creek High School/Saturday, 2-4 p.m.

Why Go: Great way for your kids to get some exercise and introduce them to a new sport. See more info and learn more about the group sponsoring the event in our .

Pricing: Free

Comedy Sportz Kidz Matinee 

Where/When: Comedy Sportz, 420 S. 1st St./Saturday, 3 p.m.

Why Go: The improv-comedy group puts on shows every Saturday afternoon specifically geared towards kids and parties. Good way to celebrate a birthday, or to just add some variety to your Saturdays.

Pricing: $7.50. Comedy Sportz also offers party packages (see website).

• Oak Creek High School Band Concert

Where/When: Oak Creek High School/Saturday, 7 p.m.

Why Go: Good chance to get your kids interested in music and the arts, and to see what OCHS music students have been up to.

Pricing: Free

Irish Family Day at the Domes

Where/When: The Domes (Mitchell Park Conservatory)/Sunday, noon to 5 p.m.

Why Go: Get in the mood for St. Patty's Day with some activities for the whole family.

Pricing: $6.50 for adults, $5 for children, students, disabled and Milwaukee County seniors
