Highway Pavement Repairs Beginning This Week

DOT announces work will be done at night and during off-peak hours to minimize the impact on traffic.

The Wisconsin Department of Transportation Southeast Region announced that work will begin this week on the $7 million project to do pavement repair at locations in Washington, Ozaukee, Waukesha, Milwaukee, Racine and Kenosha Counties.

The improvements will include joint and crack repair, sealing, concrete base patching, and mill and overlay of asphalt.

Work will be done during off-peak and nighttime hours. There will be some short-term lane and ramp closures, but all roadways will be open during peak hours.
