Last Chance: Absentee Voting

Early voting in the May 8 Democratic primary ends on Friday.

The Democratic primary in the gubernatorial recall election is almost a week away (May 8), and that means absentee and early voting has already begun.

Absentee voting in person at ends at 5 p.m. Friday. Requests to receive an absentee ballot via mail must be received by the city clerk's office by Thursday. Mailed absentee ballots must be postmarked by May 8 to be counted in the primary election.
