Legion Memorial Will Add Temple Shooting Victims, Lt. Murphy
Re-dedication ceremony will be held Sept. 23 at the Oak Creek American Legion Post.
A memorial at the Oak Creek American Legion Post will be rededicated Sept. 23 to include heroes from all walks of life.
That includes the six Sikh Temple of Wisconsin members who lost their lives during the Aug. 5 shootings at the temple, as well as police Lt. Brian Murphy, who was injured in the attack.
"We are rededicating the existing memorial to heroes of all walks of life, not just veterans," Commander Dan Daily said.

The dedication will be held at 3 p.m. at the , 9327 S. Shepard Ave.
