Natural Gas Odor Wafts Through South Milwaukee, Oak Creek
Authorities could not pinpoint the source of a natural gas leak in South Milwaukee that could be smelled all the way to Howell Avenue.
An odor of natural gas believed to have originated in South Milwaukee Friday night could be smelled as far west as Howell Avenue in Oak Creek, according to South Milwaukee Blog.
And as of last night, authorities couldn't pinpoint the source. The South Milwaukee Fire Department canvassed the neighborhood where several calls came in, and We Energies also had crews in the area, but nothing was found, according to the report.
We Energies was still investigating Friday night.
