Open Thread: Construction Construction Everywhere

Construction to the right of them. Construction to the left of them. Construction in front of them. Volley'd and thunder'd!

Construction is one of those necessary evils that all drivers must bear, but that doesn't make it any less unpleasant. I daresay anyone in Oak Creek who has to go anywhere will come face-to-face with it in no time flat.

Those commuting anywhere along Interstate 94 will inevitably deal with the horrific traffic caused by it. Others traveling north towards Oshkosh will face the same thing. Drivers coming from Waukesha, Mukwonago and Brookfield are also in the thick of it. And - of course - things around town in Oak Creek aren't exactly smooth sailing.

These daily stresses can add up on you as well as wearing on your car. Dion Dull at says that they've "seen an increased number of broken sway bar and suspension related repairs" since construction began. There's no way for them to conclusively say that this trend is due to the construction, but it's an informed guess.
