PBS Film Crew Spends Weekend In Oak Creek

The production company involved with PBS' "Not In Our Town" series did interviews and filmed Saturday's community forum.

A film crew from the PBS series "Not In Our Town" spent last weekend in Oak Creek for an upcoming special related to the Sikh temple shootings.

The crew was in town for four days interviewing Sikh temple members, community leaders, Police Lt. Brian Murphy, American Legion Post members and Oak Creek residents.

They also filmed Saturday's community forum on gun violence.

There is no word yet on when the show will air.

PBS did not get the full story. PBS did not interview any of the residents in the audience that are demanding full disclosure of events at Saturday's presentation they only covered half the story, the half officials want projected as the norm which it is not. PBS needs to come back and interview the rest of us. Personally, I have a big problem with all this anti bullying. Children learn best in the world of their peers., When adults interfere they give many without innate skills an unfair advantage over others in the group. Yes, the goal anti bulling sounds good but it promotes mental and social bullying. IT protects the devious from expulsion which surely seems to be the goal of politicians as they scrabble for protection with creation of laws protecting themselves and theirs by creating laws which are nothing more than legal crimes against humanity, the general public.
