A 30-minute ceremony inside the Saturday morning honored all those who have served in the military.
The event featured a bagpipe performance from the Greater Milwaukee Fire and Police Pipes and Drums, a 21-gun salute and speeches from public officials.
World War II veteran Hank Masnak, 87, was recognized and presented with a special handmade quilt.
The event, organized by the Oak Creek Celebrations Commission, was six days before Veterans Day, Nov. 11.
