Updated: Milwaukee Area Hit By Another Round of Storms

No major problems reported in Oak Creek.

More severe thunderstorms moved into the area Tuesday night and caused flooding problems throughout the Milwaukee area, though it appeared Oak Creek was again spared the worst of it.

Storms producing heavy rainfall moved into the area about 8 p.m.Β A severe weather alarm was heard at Oak Creek City Hall during Tuesday's Common Council meeting.Β A flash flood warning stayed in effect until midnight.

The National Weather Service reported 1.2 inches of rain fell at Mitchell International Airport.

The damage was worse to the north and west of Oak Creek, with problems including flooding and downed power lines reported. Flooding was also seen at Loomis Road and Highway 100 in Franklin.
