Sikh Temple Holds First Service Since Shooting

Members gathered at the Oak Creek temple one week following a deadly rampage that took the lives of six people and injured three others.

Sikh community members gathered Sunday at the in Oak Creek for the first time since the deadly attack Aug. 5.

Patch's media partners at Fox 6 report that members gathered about 9 a.m. for a flag-raising ceremony. Services were then held from 10:30 a.m. until noon, featuring devotional hymns and prayers and the closing of the Sikh holy book
