Snow Plow Crashes Into 27th Street Walgreens

The snow plow driver said he "must have blacked out," a witness told police. He was taken to the hospital with minor injuries and cited by Oak Creek police.

A witness told police a snow plow driver got out of his truck and said he "must have blacked out" after crashing into the Walgreens at 27th and Ryan early New Year's Eve morning.

The witness saw the truck go across the median on 27th Street, over the curb and into the Walgreens building just after 6 a.m., according to the Oak Creek Police Department logbook.

Patch's media partners at Fox 6 reported the driver was taken to the hospital for minor injuries and was cited for failure to keep vehicle under control.
