Winter Storm Warning Issued

Warning begins at 6 a.m. Sunday.

Winter makes its return with a blustery mix of sleet and snow.

Wisconsin's reprieve from winter officially ends at 6 a.m. on Sunday, when a winter storm warning goes into effect. The warning ends at 6 p.m. Monday.

The National Weather Service is predicting 3 to 6 inches of snow and up to a quarter-inch of ice accumulation. Snowfall is expected to be heaviest during the morning, and visibility could be reduced to a quarter-mile or less. Strong wind gusts could also be part of the storm.
