2nd Annual Dance for the Hearts


SUPPORT OUR VETERANS!

Healing
Warrior Hearts
and the Starfish Foundation are holding a fundraiser on
Saturday, May 17 (Armed Forces Day) at American Legion Post 434, 9327 S Shepard
Ave., in Oak Creek. Proceeds from this event will help provide the Healing
Warrior Hearts program free to all Veterans.

Dance for the Hearts begins at 1:00 pm.  At 1:30 the American Legion Riders will be
doing a special colors ceremony, bringing the flags into the Post on their
motorcycles!  All bikers are welcome to
participate in the opening “ride-in.”  DJ
James Barnes, Vietnam Veteran, will be playing great music and performing with
the crowd. 

This is a family friendly event, children are welcome (12 and
under free admission). Face painting, clowns, and music all afternoon, followed
by an evening of dancing and a Casino fun night.  Food vendors, soda/coffee and bar service
will be available for purchase.

A live auction will be held at 5 p.m.  Some of the items will include a Laptop,
Kindle Fire, fur coats, plus much more.  Raffles
will be held at 3, 4 and 7, 8, 9, 10 and 11 p.m. with prizes ranging from gift certificates to
restaurants, jewelry, festival tickets, and many other items.  Dance the night away with DJ James Barnes and live music by Highway 141 beginning at 6 p.m.,
with Casino fun night beginning at 6:30 p.m.  Grand prize drawing from the Casino fun night
will be at 9:45 p.m. 

Admission to the Dance is $10 at the door (13 years old and
over) and includes one raffle ticket.
