The community is invited to a Family Health Night at the Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare Franklin Hospital, 10101 S. 27th St., Thursday, Oct. 4, at 6 p.m.
At 6:30 p.m., Mayor Scaffidi will be judging the chili cook-off, which includes a special entry by the Oak Creek Fire Department.
Bring the children to see a fire truck on display out front and watch the Flight for Life helicopter land at 7:30 p.m.

Children can also have their stuffed animasl examined by physicians at the teddy bear clinic.
The event also features educational, hands-on display booths and will have healthy frozen treats.
