 Oak Creek  See map

Enjoy a 5K walk or run on the scenic walking and biking trails of Oak Creek Saturday, Oct. 6, and support school projects.

The event starts and ends at Oak Creek High School. Enjoy a family-friendly walk or more competitive 5k run. Stay after the Walk/Run to enjoy time with community friends with a hot dog and beverage.

Participants may register on site the day of the event beginning at 8:00 a.m. at the Knights Stadium.

The walk is open to everyone who wants to support education in our community. Families and beginning runners are encouraged to participate.

The Community Walk raises funds for classroom projects, school programs, and student scholarships throughout the school district.

Funds raised will be used to support projects in the Oak Creek-Franklin School District that are not covered within the budget.  Past funds help support the AP art show, speakers at teacher training sessions, "Year of The Dad" events encouraging parents in schools, kindergarten take home reading packs, alternate physical fitness equipment and student scholarships.

Grow up. We won't forget either. That those of you who had a little bit, held tightfisted to it likeRead More a four year old unwilling to share his toy truck. That you endorsed and supported a man who has gone on to undermine this state, its jobs, its infrastructure, its education system, its people, its very foundation. You remember...it was you who did this.
