Sikh Temple Shooting Remembrance at Federal Courthouse

As part of the events marking the 1-year anniversary of the Sikh temple shooting, a remembrance will be held at the federal courthouse in downtown Milwaukee (517 E. Wisconsin Ave.)

The ceremony will feature remarks from U.S. Sens. Ron Johnson and Tammy Baldwin, U.S. Attorney James Santelle, Oak Creek Mayor Steve Scaffidi and representatives from Sikh temples in Oak Creek and Brookfield.

An informal community gathering will be held afterward, "during which participants and attendees will have an opportunity to engage in informal discussion and share thoughts," according to a news release from the U.S. Attorney's office.
