Big Money in the 21st AD Primary

The campaign filing reports are posted on the GAB website for all to see and there is something interesting there!  I got several flyers from a group supporting Jessie Rodriguez for Assembly, but nothing from her campaign.  Now, I can see why.

Here's a break down of the spending:

October 16, 2013: GAB Campaign Finance Reports are available
21st AD ..... Expenditures .... Total Raised
Arnold........$ 1,268.10..........$ 1,915.00
Gamble......$ 3,475.53..........$ 3,500.00
Gehl...........$ 2,750.54..........$ 3,302.29
Kujawa.......$    507.85..........$ 4,044.93
Rodriguez...$   230.52...........$ 8,060.52

HOWEVER... in Other Spending in the 21st AD:
American Federation for Children Action Fund:  $45,646.50
+ Direct Mail - $11,649.45
+ Direct Mail - $14,708.48
+ Online Ads - $12,500.00
+ Robo Calls - $  6,788.57
(sponsored Rodriguez flyers, ads, and robo calls per the GAB7 forms)

I will let you draw your own conclusions but it looks like someone is trying buy Jessie Rodriguez a seat in the WI Assembly.
