3 Taken To Hospital After Serious Rawson Ave. Crash

A driver making a left turn onto Rawson never saw a vehicle coming from his left, causing a collision that left both vehicles with severe damage.

A serious accident May 11 in the 100 block of W. Rawson Ave. sent three people to the hospital.

According to a police report, a driver trying to make a left turn from 1st Street onto Rawson Avenue never a vehicle on Rawson coming from his left, colliding with it about 4:50 p.m.

Both vehicles sustained severe damage and were towed from the scene. The driver was cited for failure to yield during a left turn.

Three people suffered head and neck pain and were taken by ambulance to Aurora St. Luke's Medical Center.
