Accident At 27th/College Injures One

A driver ran a red light and caused a collision about 1 p.m. Tuesday, according to police. Both cars were towed from the scene.

One person was injured in a collision caused by a driver running a red light at the 27th Street and College Avenue intersection, according to Oak Creek police.

Witnesses told police a 27-year-old man ran the red light about 1 p.m. Tuesday and struck a vehicle making a left turn onto W. College Avenue.

An ambulance took one person to the hospital with hand, neck and back injuries.

Police cited the 27-year-old for violating a traffic signal and operating after suspension. Both vehicles were towed from the scene.
