Alleged Drunken Driver Crashes Into Roundabout

An 18-year-old woman caused damage to her vehicle and the College Avenue roundabout when she allegedly drove drunk and crashed into curbs and signs Friday night.

A failure to negotiate the College Avenue roundabout led to the arrest of another alleged drunken driver Friday night.

An 18-year-old woman was eastbound on E. College Avenue when she entered the roundabout, just west of Pennsylvania Avenue, about 11:25 p.m. She then struck a curb, a one way/yield sign in the center median, a second curb and another one-way sign, according to a police report.

The vehicle also lost a front tire, which was found at Pennsylvania and College.
