On July 25, Alrubaiy went into CVS, 3860 S. 27th St., and tried to fill a prescription for Oxycodone. However, pharmacy staff had already been on the lookout for Alrubaiy after he tried to pass similar forged prescriptions at Walgreens and Aurora pharmacies in the area, so they called police.
When officers arrived, Alrubaiy tried to flee, but was swiftly caught by an officer. He admitted to altering the prescription saying he βonlyβ changed it from 50 pills to 80 pills.
