Arrest Made After Police Find Stolen Vehicle

An 18-year-old South Milwaukee woman was arrested for operating a motor vehicle without consent and also received two drug citations.

An 18-year-old South Milwaukee woman was arrested in connection with a stolen vehicle recovered Friday night in Oak Creek.

According to a police report:

A 19-year-old man came into the Oak Creek police station about 7 p.m. to report his vehicle possibly stolen from the 8000 block of S. Wildwood Drive. Keys aren't necessary to start the vehicle because the ignition had been drilled out, the man told officers.

A short time later as police were entering it in as stolen, the man called and said he found his vehicle occupied in the 3400 block of E. Oakwood Road. An officer caught up to the vehicle and pulled it over near Chicago Road and American Avenue.

The 18-year-old, who was driving the vehicle, was arrested for operating a motor vehicle without consent. During a search, police found marijuana and cited her for marijuana and drug paraphernalia possession.

A 15-year-old passenger was also cited for drug paraphernalia possession.

This is why we need to legalize weed. What are we supposed to do here, thank a teacher?

What do teachers have to do with kids stealing cars and smoking weed? Are you stoned? I'd say thank a parent who was so uninvolved that kids never learned right from wrong, but we also know people, especially teenagers, sometimes just do really stupid s#$%.

Grow up. We won't forget either. That those of you who had a little bit, held tightfisted to it likeRead More a four year old unwilling to share his toy truck. That you endorsed and supported a man who has gone on to undermine this state, its jobs, its infrastructure, its education system, its people, its very foundation. You remember...it was you who did this.
