Both Drivers Taken To Hospital After Accident at 13th/Ryan

A witness told police a vehicle tried to speed through the intersection before a light change and struck an oncoming vehicle.

A two-vehicle crash at the intersection of 13th Street and Ryan Road Saturday afternoon sent both drivers to Froedtert Hospital.

According to an report:

A 54-year-old Oak Creek man was making a left turn onto westbound Ryan Road about 3:30 p.m. when it struck a vehicle southbound on 13th Street.

A witness told police the man did not have a left-turn signal and tried to rush through traffic before the light change.

The man suffered neck, head, shoulder and leg pain. He and the other driver, a 23-year-old Franklin man, were taken by ambulances to the hospital.

The 23-year-old's vehicle sustained severe damage to the front end. The 54-year-old's car had moderate damage and airbag deployment.
