Car Destroyed in Fire on Ryan Road

The driver told police he just bought the car, valued at $600, two days prior.

No one was injured in a car fire on Ryan Road last week.

The driver told police he was traveling westbound on Ryan Road about 8 p.m. Sunday when his car started to smoke and horn beep.

He pulled over in the 2600 block of E. Ryan Road, near Pennsylvania Avenue, and the fire escalated. Police said the car, valued at $600, was a total loss.
