Updated: Diesel Gas Spill Closes Lane of I-94 in Oak Creek

Sheriff's deputies discovered that one of two semi-trucks involved in a crash early Thursday leaked about 50 gallons of fuel onto the freeway.

About 50 gallons of diesel fuel spilled onto Interstate 94 following a crash early Thursday morning in Oak Creek, resulting in the closure of the far right lane.

Two semi-trucks were involved in a crash about 5:30 a.m. in the southbound lanes near Puetz Road, according to the Sheriff's Office.

Deputies responding to the scene discovered one of the trucks leaked fuel and closed a lane while the Oak Creek Fire Department cleaned up the spill.
