Driver Flees OC Police, Nabbed in Cudahy

A 22-year-old man faces a felony charge of fleeing police after he successfully evaded Oak Creek cops and then was stopped in Cudahy.

A 22-year-old man got away from Oak Creek police but wasn't as successful with Cudahy, and now faces a felony charge in Milwaukee County Circuit Court.

An Oak Creek police officer tried to pull the man over about 4:15 p.m. Sunday near Drexel and Howell avenues. However, the man did not stop and was actually able to lose the officer, according to a police report.

He didn't get so lucky in Cudahy. Police officers there contacted the Oak Creek Police Department about 5 p.m., saying they had stopped his vehicle.

The vehicle appeared to have fresh white paint on it, possibly from a hit-and-run accident, according to the police report.

Oak Creek police arrived and took the man into custody for fleeing/eluding police, a felony. He was taken to county jail.
