Edwards To Appear On UpFront With Mike Gousha

The Oak Creek police chief will talk about his meeting with Obama and the president's proposed gun measures.

Police Chief John Edwards will discuss his meeting at the White House and the president's proposed gun measures Sunday on UpFront with Mike Gousha.

The program airs at 9 a.m. and 11 p.m. on WISN-TV (Channel 12). Sunday's show also features Sheriff David Clarke, who made national news with a radio spot urging citizens to arm themselves.

Edwards met Monday with President Barack Obama and Vice President Joe Biden, along with police chiefs from Aurora, Colo., and Newtown, Conn. The Obama administration drew attention to the worst shootings of 2012 as it continues to push a comprehensive package of proposals aimed at reducing gun violence.

Enhanced background checks = registration = confiscation. This agenda is being pushed and promoted by the media as keeping our children safe. Remember those pushing the agenda are master minds, social engineers who have mastered the art of mind control and manipulation. It all sounds great until it has been enacted and the real meaning behind their agenda is revealed. Just like Obama Care we are starting to see the destruction it will have on our nation as a whole. Hitler called for registration in order to curb gun violence, stalin all the communist, imperalists marxists who wanted to control the people. WAKE UP PEOPLE!! Considering the majority of violent crimes that are committed with guns is with the use of hand guns, it amazes me how they are going after the so called semi auto rifle with some scary furniture on it (referring to it as a military style assualt rifle) It is obvious why they want those weapons ban!!! They pose the greatest threat to Obamas civilian military force when big sis comes a collecting. Sherrif Clarke has it right and thus he is being attacked and his words are being spun!! WAKE UP AMERICA

Maybe he can push for an even bigger more spectacular police station.Maybe some swans or a elaborate water fountain display like the bellagio in Vegas. Will definitely need more space to lock up responsible gun owners. Ooh, almost forgot a big media type room to accommodate all the reporters to feed the sheep like public all the lies about gun ownership.

Rhetoric with bias. What is his view? How can there be judgement based on preconceived ideas. Will you apologize, call your remarks off base if you speak out of line? Emotional remarks just to stir people up before you hear a person out is uncalled for. It takes away your credence.

Kim, I waited and listened and he said what I thought he would. Edwards promoted law that cannot be enforced on it's own. He wants more government in your life. He wants access to more info on private citizens and the ability when in your home for what ever reason to seize your guns if seen if anyone in your home cannot have guns. What we have here is knowledge of the chief's behaviors historically. No one need apologize, no one made off base remarks or spoke out of line. Again, fire him and fire him now is my thinking. People who think like Edwards are destroying America with their ideal a police state now don't cha agree?
