Fender-Bender Triggers Four-Vehicle Accident

Vehicles damaged after chain reaction at Drexel and Howell.

A domino effect that ensued after a man rear-ended a car waiting at a red light left four vehicles with moderate or minor damage.

According to a police report, a 65-year-old West Milwaukee man struck the back of a vehicle at the Drexel and Howell intersection about 4 p.m. Friday.

That car then rear-ended a vehicle, which rear-ended another vehicle, police said. The three vehicles were stopped for a red light.

A passenger in the first vehicle complained of head pain but was not taken to the hospital, according to the report. The first vehicle suffered moderate damage, while the damage to the other three vehicles was minor.

The 65-year-old was cited for inattentive driving.
