Police took a blood draw from the driver, an 18-year-old man, and sent it to the state crime lab. The Milwaukee County District Attorney's office will review the case this week.

Police Chief John Edwards said sending the case to the DA is standard procedure for any fatal accident like this one. No arrests have been made.

Detectives returned to the scene Monday and are still talking to the people involved, Edwards said.

The area is heavily traveled by bicyclists, with its location near the scenic Root River Parkway.
