Four Injured in Crash; Driver Arrested For Drug Offense

A man was arrested for possession of narcotics after a crash at 13th and Rawson that sent three people to the hospital.

A driver was arrested for possession of narcotics after a three-vehicle crash at 13th Street and Rawson Avenue that injured four people, including three who were taken to a hospital.

The man was southbound on 13th Street just before midnight June 1 when he struck a vehicle stopped for a red light in front of him, according to an Oak Creek police report.

That vehicle then hit a third car. The drivers of the first two vehicles, including the man arrested, were taken to hospitals with lacerations to the head.

The operator of the third vehicle had pain in his neck and jaw but refused transport; a passenger in the vehicle, however, was taken to a hospital with neck and tooth pain.

Police found Oxycodone pills in the center console of the man's vehicle, according to the report. The man denied the drugs belonged to him.

In addition to his arrest for narcotics possession, the man was also cited for operating without a valid license, inattentive driving and operating without insurance.
