4 Guns Stolen from Truck
Other thefts from cars/trucks in the area include a catalytic converter, GPS and cellphone.
Four guns were reported stolen from a truck parked in the 800 block of West Puetz Road overnight Sunday.
The guns, two rifles, an antique powder gun and a shotgun, had an estimated value of $1100 to $1250, according to the Oak Creek Police Department report. The thief gained entry by breaking a sliding window on the cab.
In other thefts from vehicles, a catalytic converter was stolen from a delivery truck parked at the Days Inn, 1200 W. College Ave. overnight Friday, Sept. 28. Thieves left the bolts laying on the ground after stealing the part, estimated at $1200.

A bike-riding thief stole a GPS and a cellphone from a car at 12:23 p.m. at PDQ, 6300 S. 27th St. The driver had gone to pay after getting gas and came out to find the electronics gone. Video of the incident shows the suspect riding away on a bike.
