On Nov. 6, Bradford went to his ex-girlfriend's home in Menomonee Falls, where she was with her new boyfriend. The woman saw Bradford peeking through the living room window and went outside to confront him. She went back inside and told her boyfriend that Bradford left.

About 10 minutes later, the boyfriend left the residence and was confronted by Bradford. He began kicking the boyfriend's car and damaged the mirror and a marker light. Bradford then charged the boyfriend and punched him in the head roughly 10 times. The man went to the hospital the following day due to continued pain.

Bradford's ex-girlfriend told police Bradford called her the day after the fight and apologized for hurting her, and said he still cared deeply for her.

Prior to the November incident, Bradford was charged with battery and operating without a valid license. He posted $1,500 bail, but violated the conditions of his bail to not commit any further criminal violations.Β
