Laptop Stolen From Oak Creek Home

Police say patio door was left open.

Oak Creek police say someone entered a home in the 1400 block E. Buckwood Court through an open patio door and stole a resident's laptop Monday morning.

The burglary happened between 6:30 and 10 a.m., according to a police report. The laptop was left on the floor of a bedroom and when the resident returned home, it was gone. In addition, the mattress of the bed was moved to take the power cord, the report said.

There was no signs of forced entry and nothing else was taken. Police did a canvass of the neighborhood with no results.
