Man Arrested For 4th OWI Had Child in Car

The man was pulled over after running a red light at Howell and Ryan, according to police.

A man had a child in his car when he was arrested for his fourth drunken-driving offense May 13 in Oak Creek, according to a police report.

Police say the man went through a red light at the intersection of Ryan Road and Howell Avenue about 6:30 p.m.

After pulling over the vehicle, the officer noticed the driver had red eyes, slurred speech and smelled of alcohol, according to the report. The man admitted to having three mixed drinks and being intoxicated.

An intoximeter test showed a .06 blood-alcohol content. The child was picked up by her mother while the man was taken to Wheaton Franciscan for a blood draw.
