Man Arrested on Drug Charge After Traffic Stop

Police arrested a 25-year-old Oak Creek man for possession of narcotics after a motorist called 911 about a driver who appeared to be under the influence.

A 25-year-old Oak Creek man was arrested on a drug charge after a motorist reported his vehicle all over the road Saturday in the area of 13th Street and Rawson Avenue.

About 6:30 p.m., a 911 caller reported a possible intoxicated driver who almost hit other vehicles on the road and a parked vehicle, according to an report.

Police pulled the driver over near 13th and Rawson. During a search, an officer found drug paraphernalia and a metal pill bottle containing white pills thought to be Percocet, according to the report.

He was arrested for possession of narcotics. The man has not yet been charged in this incident but was charged in March with possession of narcotics in a case that is still open, according to online court records.
