On Oct. 2, police were tipped off that Rainey was planning to sell drugs at a gas station in the 1300 block of W. College Ave., so police set up surveillance of the station in advance of the deal. Police saw a car with a woman driving pull up and park at the station with Rainey sitting in the passenger seat.

Rainey then got out of the car and began walking toward the sidewalk where he was confronted by officers. The woman in the car was also confronted and told them they were at the gas station so Rainey could sell drugs, which he kept hidden in his buttocks area.

Rainey was taken to the police department to be strip searched, where officers found baggies containing Oxycodone pills, heroin and cocaine hidden on Rainey.

He admitted to police he planned to sell the drugs and would cook some of the cocaine into crack cocaine if it wasn’t sold.

Rainey is being held in Milwaukee County Jail on $1,000 cash bail.
